What Ya Know About? - Suburban Dark feat. Rapaport
For “What Ya Know About”I was commissioned to Produce, Direct and Edit a music video for Sydney Hip Hop/Electronic act Suburban Dark.My creative approach consisted of a 2 part shoot where we recorded the featured rappers face rhyming the lyrics, and then, re-recorded the rhyming footage as it was projected onto streets from a moving vehicle. The final product spliced the original footage with the projected footage and added a glitch aesthetic fit with the band's image and sound. The music video went on to create a viral success which resulted in the band and I being commissioned for a headline Audio/Visual show for VIVID Sydney.
